CDAA Basic Cave Course
Your first adventure towards Cave Diving starts here with the Basic Cave Course where you will be taught how to access CDAA Sites as well as the dive skills required in the sport. Handling zero visibility, lost mask and air sharing are just some of the skills that will be taught in this course. Schedule as follows:
Pre Course - Reading manuals and E-Learning
Day 1 - Theory, Reel Workshop
Day 2 - Gear Configuration, Controlled Water Dives
Day 3 - Skills Assessment Dive, Site Dive
Day 4 - Final Site Dives
Water skills include a focus on tec style finning techniques (frog / tec flutter / back / helicopter), hand, light and tactile communications, maintaining trim and buoyancy whist performing all skills including air sharing, no mask / black out mask following a line, laying and retrieving line.
